In the wide-open desert roads where traffic is light and adrenaline is high, one man decided that four wheels just weren’t exciting enough. So what did he do? He stepped it up—literally—by “surfing” on the side of a moving car like he was auditioning for a Fast & Curious reboot.
Captured in what looks like footage from an MBC broadcast, the man hangs out of the driver’s side door while the car barrels down the road at speed. With a hand on the doorframe, he lets his legs drag on the the road, gliding along the road like a sandstorm-born superhero in traditional attire.
In another daring move, he takes the corner like a pro—his body swooping to the side as the car curves, looking more like a human spoiler than a passenger. Forget amusement parks. This guy made the entire road his rollercoaster.
It’s unclear whether this was a calculated stunt, a viral video in the making, or just someone’s version of a really intense Monday morning commute. What is clear, however, is that this man has nerves of steel and a love of thrills strong enough to make even seasoned stunt drivers raise an eyebrow.
Of course, let’s just say it for the record: don’t try this at home—or on the highway, or anywhere, really. While this desert daredevil’s antics are undeniably entertaining, they’re also undeniably dangerous.
